Behavioral Medicine

This medical specialty focuses on assessing and treating children with behavioral issues, developmental disabilities and learning or attention disorders. Specialists in behavioral medicine evaluate, counsel and provide treatment for children and adolescents with a wide range of developmental and behavioral difficulties, such as:

  • learning disorders and difficulties
  • attention and behavioral disorders
  • tics, Tourette syndrome and other habit disorders
  • delayed development in speech, language, motor skills and thinking ability.
